Pauli The PSM Shares Brand New Single

Today sees exciting polymath Pauli The PSM release new single ‘One Of Those Guys (Max Branning Theme)’ following it’s exclusive premiere by The FADER. A gorgeous slice of alt-pop, the track is the latest offering from Pauli’s new four-track EP, ‘Secret Life Of A Badman’, which sees him challenging hyper masculinity, confronting new age dating, falling from grace, infidelity and second chances. The track is available on all DSPs now while you can watch the video HERE.

Speaking on the track, Pauli says “Trust is the most important part of a relationship, closely followed by communication. Inspired by a Max Branning storyline, I used this song to explore themes around the breakdown of trust in a relationship and how it could be communicated without rationalising the subject’s infidelity. I’ve kept the narrative open to the audience’s interpretation of the character’s situationship.”

Having spent the last few years touring as Sampha’s drummer, alongside involvement in a number of other high profile projects (Gorillaz Soundsystem + Africa Express), through to providing musical direction to FKA Twigs' Congrageta tour and Jamie xx’s live performances of ‘Loud Places’, Pauli has built an incredible reputation as one of London’s most enigmatic and impressive young creatives. Not just content contributing to the musical zeitgeist, he has also been involved with campaigns for the likes of Adidas and RYU as well as part of Somerset House’s ‘Return Of The Rudeboy’ exhibition and taken his cult club night ‘Back to Life’across the US and Asia.

More new music and visuals from Pauli The PSM will be released early next year.
